It should go from the head to the chest in length. To prevent it from going through the stitches at the top of the head, tape a small bunch of polyfil to that end of the chopstick before finishing stuffing. These dolls do tend to be a bit flop...Hello Marcia.<br />These dolls do tend to be a bit floppy, since the neck is relatively thin, and the hair makes the head heavy, but the head should be able to stand on its own as long as the neck is stuffed firmly. I'm not sure if there's anything you can do after you've sewn everything up.
